My Story... and How I Cured My Acne

I was always a kid with a face full of zits. In my little circle of life, my dad, mum, brother, sisters, the whole family, my friends, the teachers, the boss, and literally anyone I knew always talked about how bad my acne was.

I personally thought I had the worst acne, which when I sometimes think back, makes a lot of sense. Blackheads, whiteheads, zits, and all kinds of acne, I had them all. My face was covered with red spots and swellings. I looked like a mess and this made me to avoid any social events. Worst, I lost all my confidence and self esteem to acne.

Frustrations, embarrassments and low self confidence as well as volatile emotions are results of having severe acne. More importantly, this shows I know how it feels like to have acne on your skin. It sucks, period.

That's why I created this blog in the first place. To help acne sufferers to get rid of their acne. A lot of people don't have a slightest clue on how they can treat their acne properly, so I think it's absolutely a must for me to create this blog, as a platform to share experience, and help other people with acne.

I had my first experience with acne when I was 11, and I didn't really pay any attention to it really. As a result of my ignorance, the zits had grown overwhelmingly. It was until 2 years later, I started to care about how I look. I didn't like the way I looked with all the zits.

For a few years or so, I tried to cure my acne using traditional and conventional methods, which proved to be ineffective, and very expensive as well. I also visited a very famous dermatologists with the hope of finally curing my acne. I still remember the first time I met him and the whole treatment did only one thing, disappointing myself.

For every two weeks, I had to take a bus (didn't have a car back then) to his clinic which was located in a city 30 miles away from my hometown. For every two weeks, I had to pay about $150 for the medicine and consultation fees. Costly? DEFINITELY!

For a few months, after spending more than 1000 dollars for the professional medical help, I gave up. My acne didn't clear up, and some times, it got worse! The doctor was so surprised to see my acne was actually worse after taking all the pills and accutane, and he tried to make up for it by giving me EXTRA PILLS & FACIAL TREATMENTS, free of charge.

Deep in my mind, I knew I would never want to see another dermatologist or doctor for my acne ever again. I knew there were alternative ways to cure acne.

Then I embarked on a whole new journey, I started reading books, "interrogating" people who had acne, scouring for more information on the Internet, etc etc. I have to say, it was due to my desperation I was able to go so far with my research.

Whenever I find something that seems to help in acne, I record it. I did this for a year or so. I can only imagine how much time I have spent doing this. The notes, the very information that allowed me to be finally acne free, are available to you on this blog.

So please enjoy your stay and I hope your acne will go away soon! :D

Cheers!
